"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

Lighthouse Baptist Church is to be a lighthouse in the community and to the community, to shine the light of the gospel.

Our focus is to bring glory to our Heavenly Father by fulfilling His Word. We believe in the Scriptural mandate of Mark 16:15 when Christ said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

We also believe that world includes our community.

As a church and as part of the body of Christ it is our responsibility to bring the truth to a lost and dying world.

John 8:32 says, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

This is the ministry God has given us.

As an Independent Baptist Church we are fundamental in doctrine. This means we base our beliefs and doctrine on God's Word.

In Matthew chapter sixteen when Christ asked, "Whom say ye that I am?" Simon Peter answered, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Christ said in verse eight-teen of chapter sixteen of Matthew, "upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

The church must be founded on Christ and His finished work if it is to stand.
